Description: The intent of this contract is to secure services for mechanical site preparation consisting of pulling and piling of shrubs, cutting or pulling of trees not meeting "leave tree" definitions and piling of logging slash, using an excavator with bucket or grapple to meet Forest Service standards and guidelines. The project is located on the Nevada City Ranger District and consists of 124 acres. Estimated start work date June 2, 2003, contract time 87 days. Solicitation issue date 4/7/03. This is a small business setaside.
