- Description
- The Department of State has a requirement for airtime for two (2) M4 Inmarsat terminals. Service will support the ability to bring up individual TCP/IP sessions (two separate 64 Kbps sessions simultaneously) as well as support for the bonding of two 64 Kbps channels to get the optimum (no less than 110 Kbps via bonding) TCP/IP sessions over long delay links. Optimum channelization via bonding is required. Support services are required 7 days a week/24 hours a day to troubleshoot technical difficulties. The Contractor shall look at both the transmission and terminal as a single entity and be able to determine whether technical difficulties are due to the hardware/software issues or due to service provider issues and rectify the problem immediately. This requirement is for one year plus two option periods.
