- Description
- VA VISN 22 Network Business Center intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with Endocardial Solutions under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Ensite 3000 System and Ensite Catheter Startup provides an advanced arrhythmia mapping tool that allows Electrophysiologists to pinpoint the source of an arrhythmia. The system is for the Cardiac Cath Lab at VA San Diego Healthcare System, 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161. The System includes: training catheters, hardware and software upgrade, standard one-year warranty, training, technical support, delivery and installation. The Government intends to award firm, fixed price contract for this equipment. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested firms will be considered only if they are capable of meeting or exceeding the requirement stated.
