Description
The second annual Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Summit is scheduled for August 18-21, 2003. Sponsored by the Paul Revere Chapter of the Air Force Association (AFA) with the participation of the Commander, Electronic Systems Center (ESC) and the Deputy Chief of Staff for Warfighting Integration, Headquarters, United States Air Force (AF/XI), this Summit will focus on transforming C4ISR into decision superiority. Three keynote presentations have been confirmed: * General Richard Myers, Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff; * The Honorable James P. Roche, Secretary of the Air Force; * General John P. Jumper, Air Force Chief of Staff. Four panel reports on current C4ISR issues will be presented: * Network Operations: Major General Charles Croom, Director of C4ISR Infostructure, AF/XI; * Predictive Battlespace Awareness (PBA): Brigadier General Dan Goodrich, Director for C4ISR Integration, AF/XI; * Effects Based Operations (EBO): Brigadier General (S) Michael Snodgrass, Deputy Director for Operational Requirements, AF/XOR; * An Industry Perspective: Mr. Terry Drabant, President Lockheed Martin Mission Systems (see attached bio). We expect at least 800 government and industry participants. A 10,000 square foot exhibit hall will feature industry and government displays of current capabilities. A golf tournament at the championship Ferncroft course will precede the summit itself. All attendees will have a tremendous opportunity to network and interface with the nation's foremost C4ISR military and civilian leaders. REGISTRATION AND GOLF FEES: Registration fees for industry participants are $495 for the Summit and $135 for the golf outing. Government fees are $295 for the Summit and $115 for the golf outing. NOTE: Registration includes all presentations, entry into the exhibit hall, a welcome reception on Tuesday evening, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Wednesday evening and breakfast and lunch on Thursday. Golf includes green fees, cart, prizes and awards luncheon. The entire Summit will take place at the Sheraton Ferncroft Resort in Danvers, MA. Meeting space, meals, guest rooms, exhibit hall, and golf facilities have been reserved. For hotel reservations <http://www.paulrevereafa.horizons.com/c2/hotels.asp> call 888-627-7203. Industry and government organizations can reserve 8'x10' exhibit <http://www.paulrevereafa.horizons.com/c2/exhibits.asp> booths in the C4ISR exhibit hall at a rate of $2,000 per booth. A limited number of table-top (approximately 5' long) exhibit spaces can be reserved at $1,400 each. All space will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE FINDS THIS EVENT MEETS THE MINIMUM REGULATORY STANDARDS FOR ATTENDANCE BY DOD EMPLOYEES. THIS FINDING DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A BLANKET APPROVAL OR ENDORSEMENT FOR ATTENDANCE.
