Potential sources sought to participate in the regional standardization of Safety Needles and Syringes. TRICARE Europe Region, a military integrated delivery network, comprised of Army, Navy and Air Force medical facilities in Iceland, Great Britain, Spai n, Germany, Italy, and Turkey, is considering standardizing and establishing a single source Regional Incentive Agreement for Safety Needles and Syringes. This is not a request for bid but an invitation to participate in a product evaluation process that will result in one vendor being selected to provide this product group to medical treatment facilities within the European Region. Vendors must be able to meet regional product volume requirements, provide products for demonstration and evaluation, and pr ovide product and in-service information to the medical facility staff. A list of company criteria, technical and clinical criteria and instructions will be provided to vendors, suppliers and manufacturers who are willing to participate. These vendors mu st be holders of a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), distribute products through DSCP?s Prime Vendor program and carry a full line of product for the product group being considered. Please provid e your company name, address, point of contact, telephone, fax and e-mail address. Also provide your DAPA number for the products being offered. A company must be a DAPA holder to participate in our standardization process. If your company is not a curr ent DAPA holder for this product group, you are still eligible to participate in the standardization process for this region by contacting the Defense Support Center-Philadelphia (DSCP) Mr. John Charalabidis on (215) 737-7124. Your company can be consider ed for standardization once DAPA paperwork is pending at DSCP.
