Description

This procurement is being procured in accordance with Part 14 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation under full and open competition. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue an Invitation for Bid that includes the dewatering of the foundation downstream of Deer Creek Dam. This will include providing adequate power, equipment, and personnel to maintain the dewatering system 24 hours a day 7 days a week for the entire length of the project; providing backup power for all dewatering operations; and providing a low dam at the end of the spillway discharge channel and unwatering the spillway discharge channel. Construction will occur during the summer, fall and winter of 2003 and spring of 2004 when the water level is anticipated to be allowed to resume to normal level. The duration of the project is approximately 1 year. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 238910. Bid bond will be required. The price range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. There will be a site tour scheduled for all interested parties (the date and time will be provided with the solicitation.) Place of Performance: The work will be at the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation's Deer Creek Dam, located in the Provo Canyon approximately 14 miles northeast of Provo, Utah, along US Highway 189 in Wasatch County at Deer Creek Dam.
