- Description
- The Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service intends to make a firm-fixed price, sole source award to Pike's Peak Community Foundation (Prorenata Foundation for Health Media). Govworks/DOI intends to issue a Purchase Order in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This non-competitive action is being issued by GovWorks under the authority of the Department of Interior Franchise Fund on behalf of the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. The medical center has a requirement for comprehensive all-inclusive prenatal care and education to patient and families that meet or exceed the community standard. The Spring Garden Video educational package was developed by the Air Force to address the unique needs of the military population before, during and after pregnancy. It dynamically presents the latest pregnancy information provided by top experts. It is a comprehensive five-video set or CD-ROM package that is interactive and highly informative on the most education information for pregnant patient and families. The video covers three trimesters and approximately 2-3 months following birth. In the CD ROM format, the Spring Garden Video uses 4 CD disks to present the video based interactive version of the program with a 5th CD-ROM which contains the Baby Book, a special collection of articles and graphical illustrations in a handy indexed format that support the Spring Garden Guide. In its format, Spring Garden is 2:39:01 in length and is packaged in 5 VHS tape "chapters" and also includes the single disk Baby book. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. However, all information received within five (5) days of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
