- Description
- Contractor shall provide vessel, personnel, facilities, fuel, food and support equipment in support of a geophysical survey to be conducted off the coast of North Carolina. Performace period shall be approximately 37 days. Work will be conducted in waters as shallow as 8 meters. The survey will require one cruise comprised of two separate legs. The vessel shall be available for mobilization in Morehead City, North Carolina on June 17, 2003. The vessel shall depart for the cruise area on June 19th and return on or about July 3rd, 2003. The vessel shall depart for the second leg on the morning of July 5, 2003 and return on July 21, 2003. USGS equipment shall be de-mobilized by 2400, July 23, 2003. The survey will produce digital maps of sea floor backscatter and bathymetry, and interpretive maps of the sea floor environment with particular applications to coastal erosion studies in cooperative work with the State of North Carolina. INTERESTED VENDORS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR)(www.ccr.gov). The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis the NAICS code for this procurement is 423860.
