- IMPORTANT NOTICE: NAVSEA Indian Head, a Naval Surface Warfare Center Division intends to establish a Qualified Manufacturers List (QML), to purchase electric initiators for the Department of Defense. The parts to be qualified are highly critical in nature and are directly related to life survival or emergency life saving functions. Only offerors who have completed qualification procedures will be eligible to receive awards to manufacture QML Initiators. Please note that qualification may involve substantial funding and time. Parties interested in qualifying may download the QML qualification package from the NAVSEA Indian Head web site www.ih.navy.mil/contracts. The QML qualification package will be available for downloading from our web site approximately the 3rd week of March 2003. A Point of Contact will be made available in the Qualification Package if there are any q uestions.
