- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, the U.S. Navy's full spectrum RDT&E, engineering and fleet support center for submarines, autonomous underwater systems and undersea warfare weapons systems, provides notice that the eighth annual Business Strategies and Opportunities Conference (BSOC) will be held at the Hyatt Regency (formerly the Doubletree Islander) in Newport RI on 01 May 2003. The event is sponsored by the Rhode Island Chapter of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA). The conference will include presentations designed to disseminate NUWC Division Newport competitive procurement requirements and schedules for the next two years, and provide technical program information by NUWC senior managers. A parallel acquisition track will feature the Small Business Administration?s Matchmaker event, information on the SBA Exchange Program and training sessions designed to inform contractors how to do business with GSA.
