- Description
- The Virginia Contracting Activity (VCA), on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/ Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC), has a requirement for contractor support services to accomplish diverse scientific and technical intelligence missions in the following areas: 1) Foreign Material Logistics Support, 2) Foreign Hardware Material Handling and Operation, 3) Foreign Hardware Documentation Handling, 4) Foreign Material Acquisition, Maintenance, and Repair, 5) Laboratory Infrastructure Support, 6) Laboratory Maintenance, Calibration and Operation, 7) Laboratory Equipment Upgrade and Replacement, 8) Prototype Display Design and Development. Selection for award will be made to the offeror who meets the requirements and offers the best value to the Government based upon evaluations of proposals in the areas of technical capability, cost, management, and past performance. VCA will issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for this effort on or about March 20, 2003. No other notice shall be issued other than this one. The RFP and all attachments, modifications, questions and answers will be available at http://www.msic.dia.mil/contracts/contracts.html. The Government anticipates issuing a Time and Materials requirements type contract, whereby funds are obligated by issuance of individual task orders. Competition shall be unrestricted under NAICS code 541710. The contract period of performance shall be a two-year base period plus three, one-year options that may be exercised at the Government?s discretion. Offerors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to conduct business with this Government organization. Place of performance shall be at the Missile and Space Intelligence Center, Bldg 4545, Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898. While the Statement of Work for this effort is not classified, a TOP SECRET facility Clearance is required and personnel physically working in the MSIC facilities must have a TS/SCI clearance.
