- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, anticipates acquiring by negotiation, services in support the Computer and Information Services Code. The Statement of Work will cover Software Engineering planning and management;Computer Operations support; ADP Technical and Engineering Support and Administrative Support. The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type with Cost Plus Award Fee, Term and Completion provisions. The period of performance will be five years from the date of contract award. The total estimated level of effort is 522,200 man-hours. This is a follow-on effort to contract N66604-98-D-1217 with Aquidneck Management Associates. Award will be made on the basis of Best Value to the government. The evaluation factors will be Personnel, Technical Approach, Management Approach, Past Performance and Cost. Key Labor categories are as follows: Computer Systems Administrator I- 30,000 hours, Computer Systems Administrator II- 40,000 hours, Computer Systems Analyst 61,000 hours, Database Administrator II - 10,000 hours, Program Manager II - 10,000 hours, Microcomputer Specialist III - 10,000 hours and Network Systems Manager - 21,000 hours. The resulting contract will be a single award. This acquisition is being processed as a 100 percent Small Business Set-aside. See note 1.
