- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in FAR Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), F1CXCU30591700. This document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through FAC 2001-12 dated 29 Jan 03. The NAICS is 541519 and the Small Business Size Standard is $21.0 million. One CLIN will be issued and is described as follows: The contractor shall provide the following service both for hardware and software as listed here. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, parts, and transportation necessary to provide preventive and remedial maintenance and repair on the Silicon Graphic equipment located in Bldg 1607 in order to restore equipment to operational state at Hanscom AFB, MA. The contractor shall provide same day response between Monday through Friday 0900/1800 (local time), excluding national holidays; provide software and hardware phone support or on-site support as needed, provide contact numbers and provide Silicon Graphics software maintenance to include applicable updates, required patches and necessary media. The contractor will provide on-site coverage as needed. The contractor will provide technically trained personnel to restore hardware and software. Quote shall be priced on a monthly basis for a 12 month Period of Performance: 17 Mar 03 through 16 Mar 04. This equipment listed is in support of the USAF Command and Control Enterprise Integration Facility (CEIF), Electronic Systems Center (ESC) Hanscom AFB, MA. The following clauses and provisions apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, considering technical responsibility, past performance and price. Offerors are required to submit at least three (3) recent references for evaluation of past performance of same or similar services or items.); FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (all offerors shall include a completed copy of this provision with their quotation); FAR 52.212-4, contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items (in Paragraph (b) the following clauses apply: FAR 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52-232-33; FAR 52.222-48, Exemption from Application of Service Contract Act (AUG 96) (submitted with quote); DFARS 252,204-7004, and under 252.212-7001, the following clause applies 252-225-7001.
