Description
The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB, CA, is soliciting offers to provide (4) Trailer Mounted Guard Booths for Snowy Plover Nesting Season. The contractor will provide all non-personal services: furnish all parts, labor, tools, materials, supervision, and facility, (no government-furnished property) and transportation necessary to provide the trailer mounted guard booths. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation reference number is F1CERF30510300 and will be issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation incorporates Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423110 and the size standard is 100 employees. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses. There is only one CLIN for this quote of four (4) Trailer Mounted Guard Booth that will be used by people monitoring the Snowy Plover nesting areas during the nesting season. The trailer mounted guard booths need to be prefabricated steel, 4’ X 6’, which are to be mounted on a highway approved trailer. The units are to be constructed of a minimum 2” X 2” X .083 structural steel tube frame with R-10 insulation or better, with 16 GA. galvanized steel walls and roof. The Units are to be designed for exterior use with 8” fascia and 3” overhang on all sides. They need to have one sliding window opposite the door, fixed windows on all other sides, all windows glazed with ¼” tinted tempered glass. Interior lighting needs to be florescent with a wall switch, 120/240 volt 8 Pole, 125 AMP single phase load center wired to the exterior weather tight outlet for connection to an extension cord, two duplex outlets under a 20” deep steel shelf, 1500 watt electric wall heater and one color paint finish. This service is being procured under, and will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.
