- Description
- 1. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) is issuing a solicitation for the procurement of 250 20? new containers not to exceed three (3) years from the date of manufacture. The containers must be certifiable to CSC and IMDG standards (Ammo Grade). 2. These containers will be Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). The VMI concept will be included in the solicitation. 3. The quantities are 200 East Coast and 50 West Coast. 4. The solicitation will appear on the DSCP Procurement Gateway. Hard copies WILL NOT be provided. The instructions to obtain the solicitation form the Gateway is as follows: Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home or http://214.3.146.126/home. From the Gateway homepage, select ?Search RFPs? from the right-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (pdf). In order to download and view these documents you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com . 5. The solicitation will be issued after April 7, 2003.
