- Description
- The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) intends to acquire WebSense Enterprise version 4.41 or newer to be installed on a Microsoft Windows 2000 server and to work in conjunction with a Cisco PIX firewall version 6.2 and WebSense Reporter Software license for 1800 users for a period of two (2) years. Product No. WS-PIXNTX1800CP24. WAPA believes that WebSense Enterprise for the Cisco PIX is the only url-filtering software made expressly to work with the Cisco PIX, WAPA?s firewall to the internet. In addition, procurement of automatic, daily database update of WebSence URL database at all licensed WAPA locations; standard technical support; software maintenance to include all patches, upgrades, and software updates available during the period of licensing as outlined in the Statement of Work. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supply/services. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Responses to the RFQ may be emailed or faxed (720)962-7171 Attn: Ruby Duran; telephone requests for the RFQ will not be accepted. Copies of the RFQ will be available by downloading from the Internet from the ?Industry Interactive Procurement System? (IIPS) home page located at address:hht://www.pr.doe.gov. For assistance in registering in the IIPS system contact the help desk at (800)683-0751. The Government will evaluate quotes in response to the RFQ and will award a purchase order to the responsible bidder whose quote, conforming to the RFQ, will be the most advantageous to the government considering price. Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer.
