Description

NA SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, General construction contractor services are required at the 179th Airlift Wing, Ohio Air National Guard, 1947 Harrington Memorial Rd,. Mansfield, OH 44903-0179 for construction of three single level buildi ngs with a combined square footage of 15,800 s.f. The facilities will provides space for Vehicle Maintenance Facility functions, including an administrative, classroom, and vehicle maintenance building, a paint booth, washrack building, and a vehicle park ing shelter. The construction contract will include: the three Vehicle Maintenance buildings, connection to primary utilities, landscaping & site improvements, and pavements & sidewalks. The Vehicle Maintenance buildings are designed as a single floor, s tructural steel column and beam construction, masonry block walls with architectural brick siding, standing seam metal roof, with all the communications support included (voice, data, CATV/CCTV, multimedia). The mechanical system includes a natural gas fue led boiler system with Variable Air Volume distribution, Digital controls, and chilled water-cooling. The plumbing system includes separate domestic water, storm, and sanitary sewer systems. Electric systems include step-down transformer from primary distr ibution system, and all low voltage wiring for lighting and power service connections. Communications systems include fire protection, CATV/CCTV, and integration of building systems to existing voice & data systems on the base. The total estimate for this project is between $1 million and $5 million. Technical questions should be directed to Captain Daniel L. Tack, Jr., 179th AW/CEC, at 419-520-6158. Request for the solicitation package should be submitted by 23 April 2003. The solicitation pac kage will be provided at a charge of $ 20. Checks should be made payable ?FAO DFAS INDIANA?. Specifications and Drawings will be on CD ROM in a PDF format. To receive the solicitation package send a request on company letterhead, with check to USPFO f or Ohio, Attn: AGOH-PF-PC (Tim Tootle), 2811 West Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43235. Packages will be sent UPS ground. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 1542 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code i s 236220. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more that $ 27.5 Million average annual revenue for the previous three years. This procurement is full and open competition. Solicitation packages will be available approx imately 1 April 2003, with the bid opening thirty days later.
