Description

NA Contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, facilities, and supervision to furnish and install rubber denuding fluidized bed at Red River Army Depot,FOB Destination, Texarkana, Tx 75507-5000. The system shall use the principle of pyrolyzation to remove vulcanized rubber from steel and aluminum roadwheels. Track shoes and roadwheels are to be submerged in a high temperature fluidized bed of sand where the rubber materials are gasified. These gases are then removed from the bed and passed through an afterburner operated at very high temperatures to insure comple burning of any partially oxidized and unoxidized compounds in the gas stream. The post afterburner gases are then cooled and processed by ventilation and pollution abatement equipment. T he system shalll be comprised of two separate denuding lines, each capable of processing a minimum of 200 pounds of rubber material per 1.25 hours at a maximum basket live workload weight of 3200 pounds. Each denuding line shall be capable of operating on a schedule of 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
