Description

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS A CHANGE TO ANNOUNCEMENT NUMBER A477030402 - SOLICITATION NUMBER I4770030402. The project estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. QUOTES WILL BE DUE ON APRIL 30, 2003 BY 4:30 PM. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR: APRIL 23, 2003 AT 0900. Contractors will meet at Petersburg National Battlefield Headquarters, 1539 Hickory Hill Road, Petersburg, VA 23803. "The solicitation will be available at: http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about March 31, 2003. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment and incidentals to fell, remove and grind stumps (including cleanup) in acordance with the contract specifications. Felling and removal of trees shall be conducted using techniques that will prevent damage to the historical earthen features and associated park facilities. Work to be performed at four sites in the park: Forts Friend, Haskell, Conahey and Elliot's Salient. Park location is: Petersburg National battlefield, US Route 36, Petersburg, VA 23804. The NAICS code is 561730.
