- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 9TER-03-FDH-0040 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)03-12. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 are applicable to this procurement. This procurement is to provide the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), Hoover Dam with the following items: Quantity of 50 A3A1-VAA-1131 Nova VHF Stored Voice Wideband Pagers Frequency, Quantity of 50 A4A1-VAA-1131 Nova UHF Stored Voice Wideband Pagers Frequency, Quantity of 1 C9A1-PAA-9999Z Nova Programmer. Capatibility with the existing transmitter necessitates the particular brand name requested. The government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror representing the best value. The following ?Best Value? factors will be used in descending order of importance for evaluating the offers: (1) Price, (2) Warranty provisions. Type of contract: A firm fixed price definite quantity, definite delivery contract shall be awarded. All prices are to be quoted ?FOB Destination.? Delivery due date for these items is May 2, 2003. Please acknowledge all requirements. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The potential awardee is required to register in IT Solutions Shop at www.it-solutions.gsa.gov. for post-award processing. All responses received by 4:00 p.m., PST, 4/7/03 will be considered by the government. IMPORTANT!! THE POINT OF CONTACT IS TIM MARTIN.
