Hughes Technical Center's Request for B-747 PILOT/MEECHANIC SERVICES POC: Phyliss Schlegel, Contracting Officer, ACX-052, (609) 485-4380 e-mail: phyliss.schlegel@faa.gov The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) in Atlantic City, New Jersey is seeking sources capable of performing mechanical inspection to and operation on the runway of a Boeing 747SP-21 as described in the attached draft Statement of Work. This is not a Request for Proposal but a market survey to determine available sources of services to meet an upcoming requirement. Interested parties are invited to submit a brief capability statement, including evidence of past experience and past or current licensing credentials. In addition, the attached Business Declaration Form must be completed and returned. Responses are limited to 10 pages, exclusive of the Business Declaration Form and are due no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time, April 15, 2003. Questions on the requirement or the submission process will be promptly answered and must be submitted in writing no later than April 8, 2003. Parties interested in receiving a copy of questions submitted and FAA's responses shall notify the Contracting Officer in writing no later than April 8, 2003. E-mail submissions of questions and capability statement are encouraged and can be sent directly to Phyliss.Schlegel@faa.gov. Alternatively, submissions can be faxed to the Contracting Officer's attention at 609.485.6766. The signed Business Declaration Form should be sent via fax.
