Question & Answers for solicitation F08620-03-QS716 Question: Will the winning contractor be required to posses a Florida Electricians License? Answer: All contractors will have to possess a Florida Electrical contractors License. They have to have a license in order to know the Electrical codes and install the Wiring correctly. Question: The floor plan for EBN 90815 sheet number C - 8-65 lists " the main panel needs grounded". There are several questions I have regarding this proposed work: 1. Does a ground wire need to be installed or does one exist? 2. If a ground wire is to be installed, what size and length wire is required? 3. Will a 1/2" EMT conduit need to be installed? If so, what length? 4. Will a 20' ground rod need to be installed or does on exist? Answer: 1. A Ground wire needs to be installed to the Panel 2. The length of the wire should be a total of ( 43 feet ) ---8' Up from the ground 22' to first wall 10" to the panel and 3' inside the panel. 3. Yes 1/2 Inch EMT will need to be installled. Approximately 40' 4. A 20' Ground Rod will need to be installed on the outside wall by the Mechanical Room 5. The wire shall be sized in accodinance with NEC requirements .
