Description

This requirements type contract shall be awarded for the purpose of providing roofing services as needed by Pope AFB, NC. Work orders for projects shall be issued through individual delivery orders. This project includes, but is not limited to the repair and replacement of built-up roofs base-wide. Projects will include the removal, disposal, and installation of built-up roof systems, flashing, insulation damaged fascia, metal flashing gravel, cant strips, roof gravel, shingle roof systems, metal gutters, downspouts, roof drains, EPDM systems, standing seam metal roofs, asbestos, wooden decking and associated hardware. This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for HUB-zone small business concerns. Interested HUB-zone small business concerns should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer, in writing, as early as possible but not later than 10 calendar days of this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238390 and the size standard $12 million applies. Performance period is base year plus four option years. The estimated cost of this project consisting of five years (base plus four option years) is more than $10,000,000. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr2000.com/. Release of the solicitation will be via the Internet only. Interested parties may download the solicitation from http://www.eps.gov, where it will be posted on or about 30 April 2003. No paper copies of this solicitation will be issued. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation package.
