Description

NA The scope of the contract consists of utilizing the design and as-built drawings of the existing Conventional Munitions Maintenance Facility (located on Nellis AFB) and design and construct the new F-22 Facility; the design includes one additional maintena nce bay, demolition of a building (not a new building site), and all utilities for the new F-22 Maintenance Facility. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236210, Industrial Building Construction, $28.5M average annual gross r evenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. This is a 100% 8(a) competitive procurement. The Small Business Administration has determined that, for this project, competition will be restricted to eligible 8(a) firms certified for participation in the 8(a) Program with Headquarters or approved satellite offices within the Nevada District of the Small Business Administration and which have a NAICS code 236210 among their approved NAICS codes. ONLY proposals submitted by certified 8(a) contractors will be co nsidered. The estimated cost range for this project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Offers will be required to submit a technical proposal with a separate cost proposal. The Government will select the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. The signi ficant evaluation factor that will be used for the evaluation of the technical proposal is Past Performance. The Contracting Officer may award based on initial offers received without discussions. The tentative issued date of this solicitation is on/abou t 21 April 2003. Date for receipt of proposals is on/about 21 May 2003. The Government intends to issue this solicitation as Internet only. No additional media (compact disks, floppy disks, faxes or paper) will be provided unless the Government determin es that it is necessary. It is therefore the contractor?s responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after S olicitation issuance at the following Internet address: http://ebs.spl.usace.army.mil. All offerors are required to check the Los Angeles District Contracting Division website daily to be notified of any changes to this solicitation.
