- Description
- This is a Source Selection Best Value solicitation to remove and provide new the aboveground portions of eleven inadequate and unreliable aircraft direct-fueling pantograph assemblies in the Cargo area and two inadequate and unreliable truck fill stands at MCAS, Cherry Point, North Carolina. In addition, this project will repair and improve the aircraft direct-fueling hydrant system at MCAS, Cherry Point by replacing aluminum piping with stainless steel at Pit 4, by providing pipe supports and minor repairs at the pump station, by reducing surge (water hammer) with control system modifications, surge suppressors, and back pressure control valves, and by improving the emergency stop function. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, engineering, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies and transportation to perform all work described in the specifications. The approximate Solicitation Release Date is April 16, 2003. This solicitation is available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the Internet. This project is not set aside for small business. Large businesses shall submit a subcontracting plan prior to award of the contract. In accordance with the provisions of DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Lack of registration in the CCR database on the part of the offeror will make an offeror ineligible for award.
