Description
The General Services Administration has a requirement for Section 508 training in support of the Solutions Edu training program. A commercial, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is anticipated with a 30-month period of performance commencing May 1, 2003, or upon date of award. North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 611430, size standard $6 million. This procurement set-aside for 100% Small Business concerns. A detailed RFP solicitation can be obtained via email and by request to the Contracting Officer at paul.martin@gsa.gov. The following training courses are required: A One-Day Classroom Training Course about Section 508 for up to 25 students per class and to be held at various locations nationwide. Training will include all labor, equipment, tools, training materials, contractor possessing course access/data rights, training devices, supervision, and other services necessary for classroom and trainer. Evaluation is based on best value including cost and ability to meet service requirements. The contractor will be required to submit training syllabus for the course for government approval. Course may be existing commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) training courses modified to meet specific requirements delineated herein. All training courses shall be presented in compliance with IACET formatting requirements. Businesses capable of accomplishing the required services are invited to submit literature, brochures, and capability summaries identifying, at a minimum, business size and past (limit to within 3 years) and/or current performance on similar contracts (include dollar value, course type and point of contact). Brevity of extraneous information is desired. Proposals are to be submitted by mail to: GSA, GWAC Center, 1301 Clay Street, Suite 500N, Oakland, CA 94612. Proposal responses are requested by April 23, 2003, 4:30 PM Pacific Time.
