QUANTITY 80,201 EACH, DESTINATION NEW CUMBERLAND, PA 17070-5001. SIX (6) DELIVERIES BEGINNING 150 DAYS AFTER DATE OF AWARD. IN ACCORDANCE WITH MIL-DTL-14652B DATED 18 DECEMBER 2001. IN ACCORDANCE WITH DRAWINGS B-15-5 DATED 10 MARCH 1978 AND CARTOON B-15-5 DATED 03 MARCH 1978. FIVE (5) EACH FIRST ARTICLES SAMPLES REQUIRED 60 DAYS AFTER DATE OF AWARD. ONE (1) 100% OPTION REQUIRED. SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED AS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. BERRY AMENDMENT APPLIES. SOLICITATION WILL INCLUDE END ITEM SPECIFICATION. SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE PROCUREMENT GATEWAY ON OR AROUND APRIL 22, 2003. CONTRACTOR MUST BE CCR REGISTERED AND HAVE A GOVERNMENT CAGE CODE. Drawings and Specifications can be obtained from our C & T home page located at: http://ct.dscp.dla.mil/contracting. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after (April 22, 2003). From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as The Berry Amendment impose restrictions on the DoDs acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and specialty metals (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
