Description

ISSUE DATE: 04/21/03. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for New Windows, Painting & Miscellaneous Repairs at USCG Station Eatons Neck, Northport, NY (Suffolk County). The work includes but is not limited to Power wash the entire fa?ade of the Galley and Station Operations Building; remove wood windows and aluminum storm windows in Galley Building. Discard first floor windows. Provide new wood windows on first floor of Galley building. Reinstall second floor windows after paint stripping and repainting. Reinstall aluminum storm windows on second floor. Repaint the entire fa?ade of Galley and Station Operations Buildings, including all trim, corner and rake boards, fascias boards, exterior steel stairs, doors and Galley Building windows. Repaint the entire front entrance wood porch area, including stairs columns, railings, fascias, and porch soffit ceiling. Make miscellaneous repairs to the first and second floor hall areas of the Station Operations Building. Incidental related work. The estimated cost range of this project is $100,000 to $250,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 04/21/03. The date for receipt of bids is scheduled for 5/21/03 at 2:00 pm. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR Part 19, and is 100% set-aside for small business. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue at the following site: http://www.eps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted solely on this web site. Bidders are required to verify the number of amendments issued with the Contracting Officer prior to the bid opening date. Companies not having the capability to download solicitation documents may contact Rhode Island Blue Print, 335 Webster Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920 for a copy of the solicitation package for a non-refundable deposit.
