- The Kootenai National Forest, Libby Ranger District, is soliciting quotations for 116 acres of machine slash piling and scarification. The equipment must be a crawler type excavator, 80 to 125 HP. Estimated start date is June 16, 2003, contract time is 75 calendar days. All quoters are encouraged to visit the project sites. The solicitation will be available on approximately April 21, 2003, and can be downloaded from this site at that time.
