Description

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), Through the Division of Acquisition Management (DAM), Program Support Center (PSC), plans to award a 21 month sole source contract using simplified acquisition procedures, to The Ambulatory Pediatric Association 6728 Old McLean Village Drive, McLean, VA 22101. The anticipated date of award is April 25, 2003. The contractor shall select up to three research projects/recipients and each selected recipient will conduct research and prepare a report focusing on child health services research in support of Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) child health activities and initiatives. The contractor shall carry out the following tasks: - Progress Report - 10 months after contract is signed - Final Report - 21 months after contract is signed The proposed simplified acquisition is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of far 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest by responding to the requirement within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation is available.
