Description

NA This pre-solicitation and solicitation synopsis is for a construction contract for the repair of stucco on the East/West sides of Bldg 1B,Tobyhanna Army Depot. Work to include, but is not limited to: preparing exterior to receive a three (3) coat system of stucco; repair work to include: supply and install all flashing and counter-flashing; selective demolition work; cutting and patching; masonry; rough carpentry; finish work; sheet metal work; joint sealants; painting; related electrical and fire/heat alar m system work. Estimated magnitude is between $250,000 -$500,000. NAICS is 238140(Masonry Contractors), average annual receipts $12.0 million. Solicitation number DAAB17-03-B-0003 applies. This solicitation, including specifications and drawings, will be i ssued electronically only. Any amendments will also be issued electronically only. No paper or disk will be available. Issue is in accordance with FAR 4.502, 5.102(d), and 14.205-1(a). Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after issue da te at the following internet address: https://abop.monmouth.army.mil/. At the ABOP, at NEW USERS follow instructions to register. After obtaining a password (usually provided within 24 hours), go to ABOP and under ARMY SOLICITATIONS SELECT CECOM. Failure to obtain amendments and/or acknowledge amendments by the time set for bi d opening may result in rejection of your bid. Due to the use of electronic solicitation, the Government is unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Bidders are encouraged to register as a potential source for this solicitation (see top of screen for POT ENTIAL SOURCES)and to view to registered firms under the Potential Sources logo on the internet site. Bidders are further notified that bids must be submitted in HARD COPY ONLY. ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Estimated issue/opening dates are 22 APR 2003 and 22 MAY 2003. Actual issue and open dates shall be as established in the solicitation.
