Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires technical support services for the A/F27T-10 Hydraulic Component Test Stand (HCTS), which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Dayton T. Brown of Bohemia, NY. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only company familiar with the HCTS, as they are the designer and manufacturer of the units, and the Government is not in possession of the drawings or technical data at this time. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
