Description

Land Mobile Radio Maintenance Service. Provide all management, test equipment, tools, materials, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to troubleshoot and repair land mobile radio maintenance (LMR) service at Little Rock AFB, AR. Services include but are not limited to: Preventative maintenance on fixed equipment; installation and removal of commercial two-way radio communications equipment and systems, vehicle siren/PA systems, emergency lights and intercom systems. Provide pickup and delivery of handheld and portable equipment requiring repair with minimal downtimes and timely turnarounds; Maintain FCC compliance; Assist in technical solutions for new LMR projects and provide service to correct malfunctions in any equipment, nets, or systems. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System is 811213. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7622. The contract will be for a basic period of six months (1 Apr 03-30 Sep 03) with four one-year options and a fifth six-month option. This solicitation is a competitive RFP and award will be based on commercial procedures found in FAR Part 12 and IAW FAR 13.5. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizops website (www.fedbizops.gov) on or about 6 Feb 03. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.
