Description

The work involves (1) demolishing site features to include paving, curbing, fencing and landscaping as needed for installing a new building; and (2) furnishing and installing an approximate 11,000 square foot, single story office building, complete with finished interior, utility connections, and sitework, ready for occupancy. This is a firm-fixed price requirement. The estimated price range for the work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Requests for solicitation should be received on or before May 16, 2003. Bids are tentatively scheduled to be opened on June 3, 2003. The contract completion time is 365 days. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance, the solicitation may be viewed without charge, at the following offices of the Bureau of Reclamation: McCook Field Office, 1706 W 3rd R.R. 1, McCook, Nebraska or the Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Room 2031, Billings, Montana. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation for this acquisition, the small business size standard is $28.5 million and the standard industrial classification code is 1542.
