Description

*****MODIFICATION TO MAKE RADIOS IN THE REQUIREMENT KENWOOD (MODEL TK280GK) MANDATORY, AND ADD ANI SIGNALING DECODER (TO BE COMPATIBLE WITH CURRENT COMMUNICATION SYSTEM USED BY NIMA). WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE MANDATORY RADIO REQUIREMENT CHANGE, THE REST OF THE SYNOPSIS REMAINS THE SAME .***** NIMA has a requirement for the acquisition of 50 Radios, 1 Base, 75 Speaker Microphones and 12 Multi-Unit Chargers (with each unit accommodating 6 radios), to include all material, labor and equipment to install a complete multi-channel narrow band, two-way radio base and associated equipment. A one-year maintenance agreement to start after expiration of commercial warranty is required. Contractor must coordinate frequencies with existing NIMA frequencies. RADIOS MUST BE KENWOOD MODEL TK280GK portables, and equipped with duress signaling system. Contractor is asked to provide Specification Sheet and compatibility statement with quote. Radios must be hand-held multi-mode VHF portable radios with hi-capacity battery, antenna, belt clip, duress capabilities, and one spare battery per radio. Speaker Microphones must be compatible with Radios. Multi-Unit Chargers should accommodate 6 radios each. Base station should be a multi-mode control station for the security desk, to include small antenna, desk microphone, and power supply. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which, if received in a timely manner, shall be considered. Please advise if a Government Credit Card will be accepted. Delivery to: NIMA Central Receiving, 3838 Vogel Road, Mailstop L-59, Arnold, MO 63010. FOB Destination. Preservation, packaging, packing and marking shall be standard commercial. Standard commercial warranty shall apply. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration system to receive consideration for award. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible contractor that submits the lowest total price for all line items.
