Description
Description (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation number F44600-03-T-0015 issued on April 8, 2003 for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The solicitation will be issued on the World Wide Web and can be found at the following web site: http://www.eps.gov/. (ii) Solicitation F44600-03-T-0015 is issued as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR Part 13.5. (iii) The solicitation document and FAR incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-01 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, Defense Change Notice (DCN) 20011206. (iv) This acquisition is Unrestricted. (v) The 1st Contracting Squadron at Langley AFB has a requirement for Operations Center replacement furniture, requesting flat-panel design systems furniture the preferred furniture is manufactured by Engineered Data Products, X-Sight Design or equal. 0001- 2 Each - Base Desks with doors, 36” Width, 36” – 44” length adjustable depth, 0002- 1 Each - Base Desk with doors, 48” Width 36” – 44” length adjustable depth, 0003- 1 Each - Base Desk with doors, 72” Width, 36” – 44” Depth adjustable length, 0004- 1 Each - Base Corner Desk with doors, 36” Depth, 0005- 1 Each - Set side panels for base desks, 36” Depth, 0006- 2 Each - Slat Wall Units 12x72, 0007- 4 Each - Halogen Task Lights, 0008- 6 Articulating Flat Panel Monitor Arms, 0009- 2 Each - Phone Trays, 9”Width x 16” Depth, 0010- 4 Each - Binder Holders, 0011- 2 Each -Decorative Side Panel Sets, for Slat Wall, or equal items will be considered, 0012- 1 Each - Installation of Furniture to include Receipt and Delivery, Removal of Packaging, Wipe Down of Furniture and Vacuuming of Carpet. (vi) N/A. (vii) N/A. (viii) Place of delivery for acceptance and FOB delivery point will be Joint Task Force Civil Support, 102 Buckner Avenue, Fort Monroe, Hampton VA, 23651. (xi) The delivery schedule time requirement is 2 weeks after receipt of order. (x) The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement included by Reference: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (OCT 2000). (xi) The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement included in Full Text, included in Attachment 1 to this solicitation. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation – Commercial Items (JAN 1999). This item is in attachment two - 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items. 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. (a) The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government in price and quality of product. The evaluation factor which shall be used to evaluate offers: Contractor offering the Best Value to the Government using the evaluation factors stated in FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Clauses in Attachment One. (x) Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the Representations, Certifications, and other Statements of Offerors or Quoters (JUNE 2001) with his/her offer. (xii) N/A. (xiii) No numbered notes apply. (xiv) The Defense Priorities and Allocation Systems (DPAS) assigned rating for this procurement is unrated. (xv) Responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quote which shall be considered. (xvi) This announcement will close and quotes are due by 2:00 PM (EST) 18 April 2003.
