Description

This acquisition is being offered for full and open competition subject to the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code 238210 (effective 22 Feb 2002), with a size standard of $12.0 Million and a Standard Industrial Classification of 1731. Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Woman-Owned Small Businesses, Disabled Veteran Small Businesses, and HUBZone certified Businesses are encouraged to participate. The project is located at F.E. Warren Air Force, Wyoming and involves the repair of existing pad mount medium voltage gear by replacement with new pad mount medium voltage gear. The basic bid involves the demolition of existing and installation of new pad-mounted switchgear. Existing concrete support structures will be removed and replaced. The project will replace one 9 bay switchgear package located on the base. The performance period for the resultant construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation is 180 calendar days. Winter exclusion will be incorporated into the resultant contract. The cost magnitude for this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Issue date for this solicitation in anticipated to be on or about 2 May 2003, with a closing date 30 calendar days after issuance. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal under Performance Pride Trade-Off (PPT). Under PPT, past performance will be evaluated. This solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: http://www.eps.gov/. Select EPS for Vendors the select the following items for each of the subsequent indexes: USAF OFFICES; Air Force Space Command LOCATIONS; 90 CONS, F. E. Warren AFB WY POSTED DATES.
