Description
**THIS IS A RETRANSMISSION OF ANNOUNCEMENT USCA-01-R-0007 ADVERTISED IN THE COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ON OCTOBER 5, 2000** The Federal Judiciary has a requirement for technologies that can facilitate and expedite courtroom proceedings and that may offer alternative ways to cope with increasing workloads and expanding space requirements. As a result, the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts intends to award multiple contracts under which the Judiciary will have access to computer, telecommunications, and audio/video technologies. The technologies currently utilized in Federal courts, and to be included under these contracts, are video conferencing, evidence presentation/management, and digital audio systems. These technologies will be utilized in both stand-alone applications, as well as in integrated systems comprised of multiple technologies. The contracts will encompass all of the necessary hardware and software components as well as associated installation, integration, training, warranty/maintenance, and program management support requirement to install, operate, and maintain these technologies. The Government intends to award contracts to contractors capable of providing and supporting the nationwide deployment and implementation of courtroom technologies throughout the Federal Judiciary. Interested parties must submit their requests in writing via email or facsimile to the Contracting Officer. CONTRACTORS WHO REQUESTED USCA-01-R-0007 ARE AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED IN THE BIDDERS LIST FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. NO FURTHER REQUEST IS REQUIRED.
