- Description
- The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center has a requirement for lodging and meeting space to conduct GREAT Officers? Training (Two Week Program) in Phoenix, AZ. The requirement consists of (1) Single Occupancy Lodging for 6 Instructors from 5/18/03 through 5/30/03?for twelve nights; four room nights will be included for use as needed to cover instructors who must arrive early or depart late; (2) Double Occupancy Lodging with two beds for an estimated 42 students (21 double rooms) from 5/18/03 through 5/30/03?twelve nights; four rooms ? 24 nights ? are added to accommodate an odd number of male/female students if required; five nights are added for use as needed to cover students who must arrive early or depart late; (3) Main Classroom for weekday use which is a minimum of 1800 SF (no L-shaped rooms; an unobstructed view of the front; accommodates a total 58 people?42 students plus up to 16 training staff and/or observers; U-shaped or classroom seating for 42 students, classroom seating for staff (back of room), comfortable chairs, 2 students per 6 ft. table or 3 students per 8 ft. table; chair and table requirements are also applicable to the breakout rooms below; Instructor/Presenter table at the front of the room; Receptacles for AV equipment near the front and a projection screen; (4) Breakout Rooms, 6 per day, minimum of 400 SF; unobstructed view of the front; set-up classroom style with table in front for instructor; receptacles for AV equipment; If sufficient partition is available, the main classroom may be divided and used for two of the rooms. Needed Mon ? Fri of the 1st week and Mon ? Thu the second week; (5) Staff Room ? small conference room with adequate space for 10 people (may be a sleeping-style room with a parlor/living room, with telephone/fax line capabilities, Saturday of check-in through Friday of check-out; (6) Storage Room for equipment and supplies, approximately 80 SF, beginning Sunday at check-in until class ends on the second Friday. Vendor's are encouraged to contact Cindy Doster to schedule a site visit prior to quoting on the requirement-written requests for visit may be faxed to the same number as stated above. The preferred methods for providing the RFQ to vendor not able to download the RFQ from FedBizOps is e-mail; therefore, an e-mail address must be included. If e-mail and download is not possible, a fax number must be included in the request for the RFQ. The RFQ may be obtained by download from the internet at www.eps.gov. This is considered a commercial service. Simplified acquisition procedures are applicable.
