- Description
- This is NOT a request for quotations. The U.S. Department of Transportation, Research and Special Programs Administration, intends to award a sole source purchase order, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to the California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP) via CaFCP managing agent, Bevilacqua Knight, Inc. This order represents USDOT's 2003 membership and share of operating expenses for the CaFCP. The goals of the partnership are to increase public awareness and acceptance of fuel cell technologies and the need to cooperatively work to meet the challenges to the commercialization of this technology for transportation applications. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1. This is a firm fixed priced order. No other price quotes or proposals will be accepted for this requirement.
