Description

Elmendorf AFB, Alaska has a requirement for Arctic Thunder 2003. The solicitation, F65501-03-T-0014, is a proposed sole source solicitation. The contractor shall provide all transportation, equipment, labor, supervision and materials to perform requirements as stated. The contractor shall provide 2 F-540 Boeing, 1 PT-13D, 1 B-25 and 1 P-51 for aircraft performance. Perform a show of at least 12 minutes for each aircraft on 28 and 29 June 2003. Make pilot available for press interviews and autograph sessions with the public. The contractor shall also provide a public address system (PA System); to include set-up, maintenance, disassembly, removal, and provide an announcer on 28 and 29 June 2003 for the Arctic Thunder 2003 Air Show. This is a proposed sole source solicitation. Anticipated award will be to The Alaska Air Show Association. A written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed award date will be 18 Apr 03. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award. The CCR Internet web site is http://www.ccr2000.com. It is recommended that all interested sources register for this solicitation number, F65501-03-T-0014, through EPS to ensure they automatically receive all updated documents to this requirement as they are posted.
