Description: NA The Contractor shall deliver a dredging fleet and attendant plant with operators and all operating supplies for channel maintenance dredging. Two derrick boats or barge-mounted cranes each equipped with a minimum three (3) cubic yard clamshell bucket with out teeth and minimum ninety (90) foot boom. The site of the work is located on the Elk River, between mile 0.0 and mile 2.6, with the disposal site near Charleston, West Virginia. It is estimated that time required for completion of the work is approxim ately thirty (30) days and the quantity of dredged material required to be removed is approximately 70,000 cubic yards. Work shall begin within ten (10) days from Notice to Proceed, approximately mid June 2003. The estimated cost range for this project is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. Contract type will be Firm Fixed Priced with estimated hours, competitively bided. This Information for Bid (IFB) must be requested by registering at WWW.LRH.USACE.ARMY.MIL/CT. The IFB will be mailed. This proposed procurement is not small business set aside. A SIC code of 1629 and NAICS 237990 has been established for this solicitation.
