Description

NA The work consists of clearing, grubbing and disposal of debris from borrow and fill areas; excavation of fill material from the borrow areas and placement of the fill into the fill areas, construction of a ditch and grading of fill areas to facilitate drai nage to existing drainage features on site, establishment of turf of include rough dressing, fertilizing, seeding, sprigging and sodding; and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. T here are eleven (11) sheets in the set of drawings. The purposed contract listed herein will be awarded under the Partnership Agreement between Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Department of Defense. Small Business Administration?s master requ irement number for this project is 7700-03-3-02988. There is a geographical restriction on this requirement. Competition is limited to 8(a) contractors located within the geographical area serviced by SBA Region IV, which have NAICS Code 237990 among tho se approved for 8(a) participation. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. Region IV encompasses the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Participation is permitted fo r 8(a) concerns in both the developmental and transitional stages. Interested 8(a) firms are encouraged to request a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously as possible. The services to be procured in this solicitation are classified in Standard Indust rial Classification (SIC) Code 1629, NAICS Code 237990. To qualify as a small business concern, the concern must have had average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $28.5 million. In addition to the above, all 8(a) contrac tors eligible to compete must have bonding capacity over $3,000,000.00.
