Description

Furnish all labor, material and equipment to construct a wood and steel observation platform and access stair approximately 40 feet from ground level on an existing 100 foot high steel fire tower. Furnish and design a wire rope system for lateral tie downs for the 100 foot steel fire tower. The work shall include removal of existing stairs and platforms to accommodate the new construction. The project is located at the Lostwood National Wildlife Refuge, Kenmare, North Dakota. The performance period is 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 14, 2003, with a closing date of on or about June 13, 2003. All interested parties may submit a request to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Attention: Aileen Y. China, P.O. Box 25486, Mail Stop 60181, DFC, Denver, CO 80225. Requests may be faxed to 303-236-4791. The solicitation will be available through the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
