The contractor may also be required to provide an Independent Hygienist from an Independent Asbestos Consultant, (1) to oversee the asbestos abatement (construction) (2) to take and analyze air monitoring samples. The work will primarily require asbestos workers building laborers, carpenters, lathers, plasterers, insulators, truck drivers, industrial hygienists and other disciplines with specialized experience. Projects will primarily involve asbestos abatement, but may also include selective demolition and/or restoration, including re-insulation, reinstallation of ceiling, lighting, etc. Contractors must have a minimum of five (5) years experience as a licensed asbestos abatement contractor in at least one or more of the below mentioned states. Contractors shall be licensed in the States of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Texas. This includes state or municipal license (if applicable for asbestos abatement).
