- SUBJECT: Solicitation of Vendors to Exhibit Healthcare Products, Services, and/or Sponsor Conference Items at the 2003 TRICARE Northeast/NARMC Clinical Management Conference, June 18-19, 2003. The Department of Defense (DoD), TRICARE Northeast Region is seeking up to 25 companies to exhibit healthcare products and/or services at their 2003 Regional Conference, to be held at the Sheraton National Hotel, 900 Orme Street, Arlington, VA, 22204, June 18-19, 2003. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. In addition, Exhibitors are welcome to attend the Conference plenary and breakout sessions. The emphasis of the conference is on readiness, health promotion, and managed care for all beneficiaries. The 350 attendees will be Military personnel (MTF, OLA, & TMA), Federal and non-federal civilian employees, and contractor personnel. The TRICARE Northeast Region coordinates the provision of quality medical care for the uniformed Services, military retirees, and eligible beneficiaries in 13 East Coast and Northeastern states and the District of Columbia. The Military Health System (MHS) is currently positioning itself to be the benchmark healthcare delivery system of the 21st Century. In light of the revolutionary changes within the MHS community, the TRICARE Northeast/NARMC Clinical Management Conference will ensure that their efforts support and promote collaboration, team building, and reengineering across the continuum to enhance quality, curb costs, and ensure access. Products or services must be applicable to management and/or delivery of healthcare within the DoD managed care environment. The conference will include an exhibit hall to be open two days from Wednesday, June 18 ? Thursday June 19, 2003. To ensure maximum exposure, continental breakfast, lunch, and beverage breaks will be served in the exhibit hall. Cost to exhibit is $850. Exhibit space will consist of 8? x 10? booths with pipe and drape. Additional information will be provided in the exhibitor prospectus. All arrangements will be made through the conference support contractor, Standard Technology, Inc.
