Description
The US Department of Housing and Urban Development has a requirement for professional services required for architectural, structural engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, landscape architecture, cost estimating, geo-technical review, and other services required for HUD-Owned or Mortgagee in Possession Multifamily Housing Projects located in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Caribbean (Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands), Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. Architects/Engineers providing design services must be professionally licensed in the state in which the project is located. Environmental Consultants must be licensed or certified to perform environmental assessments in the state in which the project is located. Work shall be ordered through task orders against a basic ordering agreement. Prospective contractors must provide all necessary services associated with a project. No partial awards for services will be made. The solicitation will be available on or about 5/01/03. Persons interested in obtaining a copy of the solicitation can download it at the HUD Contract Opportunities Web page. HUD reserves the right to make multiple awards and plans to use a Cascading Award Procedure to make competitive awards to 1) eligible 8(a) Business Concerns; 2) HUBZone Small Business Concerns, 3) Small Business Concerns, and 4) full and open competition, in that order of preference. A preproposal conference will be held in the Five Points Plaza Building, 11th Floor Montalvo Room, 40 Marietta Street, Atlanta, GA 30303 on Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at 10:00 - 12:00 noon.
