- Travis AFB is seeking to acquire services for the preparation of personal property of military members for movement of drayage and related service for Intra-City and Intra-Area moves involving Napa, Solano (to include Travis AFB, CA) and Yolo counties. Contractor shall provide all personnel, facilities, equipment, tools, materials, supervisory and other items and services necessary to perform this requirement. The performance period is Base year with four option years. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP), Price Performance Trade-Off (PPTO) solicitation. This is 100% small business set-aside under the Standard Industrial Classification code (SIC) 4212, NAICS code-484121, and the related Small Business Standard $21.5 million. The Statement of Work and solicitation will be posted on or about 30 April 03 with a closing date of 30 May 03 via Electronic Posting System EPS that can be access at www.eps.gov. The afore mentioned dates are only estimates and are subject to change without notice. The specific closing date will be stated in the solicitation package. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. No official bidders mailing list will be maintained. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. NOTE: Any prospective contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires a DUNS number and may take up to 72 hours to process. CCR registration may be accomplished via www.ccr.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the EPS site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal costs. The government intends to make two awards as a result of this solicitation.
