Description

NA USACE, Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) requires Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) data to identify and monitor viable habitat for the endangered species of the Black-Capped Vireo and the Golden-Cheeked Warbler at Ft Hood, TX. A combin ation of field surveys and spatially enhanced imagery using the same proprietary design of instrumentation and techniques is necessary to properly access change analysis and prevent variation in data results. Data was collected in 2002 using TerraPoint LL C LIDAR System with the rotating polygon mirror system from a fixed wing aircraft. Therefore, the Contracts Office intends to negotiate a sole-source, firm fixed-price, follow-on order with TerraPoint LLC. Period of service will be no later than 20 June 2003. Requests for DACA42-03-T-0094 will be issued on or about 1 May 2003 with a closing date on or about 9 May 2003.
