- Description
- Repair/rebuild EMD engines. Provide the services of an EMD-Lagrange authorized marine services facility to perform shop and onboard inspections, overhaul, repairs, tests, and updates on the equipment listed in the solicitation. Work is to be performed onboard selected MSC vessels in various locations around the world and in shop on components removed from the vessel such as powerpacks, pumps, turbochargers and accessory items. Sea trials will be necessary for some inspections, overhauls, repairs and tests. In order to provide emergent requirement, the contractor shall be home based within 4 hours response time of the tidewater area in Virginia. Contract to be issued for 5 years (base and four (4) option years on/abt 01June03. Closing date: 30MAY03 at Military Sealift Command, Atlantic, Bldg 242/2. A responsible offeror shall be considered eligible for award based on CCR registration.
